Cyveillance Executive to Speak at FS-ISAC on the Realities of Social Media in the Workplace

WHAT: Social media has taken off and many of today's financial service companies are embracing the technology and making it a part of their business strategies. Social media provides opportunities for growth, but can also leave organizations vulnerable to potential risks. Cyveillance's James Carnall will be a part of a panel discussion at this year's FS-ISAC, which focuses on security defense strategies to protect financial services firms, processors and their customers. The panel will educate attendees on the benefits and pitfalls of social media in their presentation titled "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Business Opportunities and Risks Through Online Social Media."
WHO: James Carnall manages a team of intelligence analysts in support of Cyveillance's Hospitality, Insurance, Transportation and Technology clients. He has extensive experience in business management and marketing with a unique international perspective, having lived and worked overseas. His current responsibilities include managing client relationships across various industries. James' team produces daily, monthly and quarterly reports for clients by analyzing brand intelligence, collected by Cyveillance technology. James also supports the Threat and Fraud Team and the time-sensitive task of detecting and taking down phishing sites. He holds a degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Network Security from George Mason University's School of Information Technology and Engineering and a Minor in Business.
