Technical Solutions Analyst - Anti-Phishing

This is a web application development position within the Cyber Intelligence Division job family. The Solutions Analyst will be responsible for developing web-based applications and assisting with the development of procedures necessary for implementing and delivering an internal 24x7 Anti-Phishing solution.  The analyst will also work to further develop tools, processes and procedures for CID related products and initiatives.  The analyst ensures that all CID development needs are being met and/or addressed.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing tools to aid employees dedicated to 24x7 phishing risk mitigation.
  • Analyze the intelligence identified by Cyveillance technology, based on client-specific criteria, to assemble relevant findings and analysis.
  • Special projects involving the use, testing and/or development of Cyveillance products 
  • Identify and communicate improvements to case processing, client deliverables and departmental productivity.

Requirements:

  • Two or more years experience developing and implementing web applications using PHP, SQL and Javascript.
  • Familiarity with standard Internet protocols and the ability to troubleshoot issues with DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, SMTP, etc.
  • Knowledge of database and programming languages to include but not limited to: MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, Java/JavaScript, HTML, XML, PHP, Perl, C++.
  • Apple OS X application development, experience with the iPhone SDK, Xcode, Cocoa,  Objective-C and UI frameworks is a plus.
  • Understanding of best development practices including configuration change management and quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.  Undergraduate degree in CS, Intelligence or Business; Masters degree in related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the intelligence disciplines and intelligence collection, analysis, production, and customer support is a plus.
  • Prior knowledge of the processes, procedures and policies related to running an anti-phishing service is strongly desired.  Broad knowledge of security, fraud, and intelligence issues in the private and public sectors is a plus.
  • Ideal candidates will have been involved with a team of analysts and/or helped to implement 24/7 operations and programs in previous positions.
